Is it possible to develop a fully multilingual application? Is it correct to call an application multilingual if its user interface is translated and made available to users in multiple languages? What about the backend? What about the logs? And if the application has got an application programming interface (API), what about its documentation? Are the current approaches of localization and internationalization1 of applications capable to end a complete multilingual end-to-end experience?
